Setup Guide

1Install and open Streamer.bot on your computer.

2Open Platforms → YouTube and connect your YouTube account.

3Open Settings → WebSocket Server and enable it. Set port to 8080 and allow local network connections.

4Start your YouTube live stream and ensure chat is connected inside Streamer.bot.

5Open the VGS OVERLAYS Builder page and enter Host and Port. Use 127.0.0.1 if running on the same PC.

6Customize overlay style, size, badges and layout. Click Save Settings.

7Copy the OBS URL from the builder.

8In OBS add a Browser Source and paste the URL.

9Set OBS Browser Source to refresh when scene becomes active and disable shutdown when hidden.

10Your chat overlay is now live.
